North Antrim Business Agency in conjunction with the Department for Employment and Learning and various training companies, are offering businesses in Northern Ireland free training leading to an NVQ industry recognised qualification. This training is for managers, team leaders and staff through the Apprenticeship NI Programme.

This is completely FREE to Business Owners!

In addition to meeting the full cost of this training the Department for Employment and Learning are also offering an employer’s incentive bonus of £500 for each member of staff that successfully completes their training.

What courses are delivered?

We are currently offering 100% funded “on the job” training in the following areas:

• Retail
• Hospitality & Catering
• Team Leading/Management
• Warehousing and Storage
• Business and Administration
• IT Users/ IT Services & Development

In addition to the “on the job” training each individual will complete an NVQ, and they will also complete job related technical certificates and have the opportunity to upgrade their skills in numeracy and literacy were required.

Where is the training delivered?

The courses are delivered in the workplace once a fortnight and are designed to cause minimal disruption to the employer and employee.

Who is eligible to apply?

The courses are designed for those who are permanently employed and working a minimum of 21 hours per week. It is open to all age groups and is ideal for those who have the experience and would welcome the opportunity to gain a qualification to match.
