MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

We are working with t he Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) who have a number of initiatives to encourage business leaders and managers to develop, to grow and to help their businesses become more competitive and profitable.

North Antrim Business Agency have teamed up with DEL’s Management Development Branch and a number of DEL appointed contractors to help businesses access thissupport and funding, and to encourage businesses to invest in management and leadership development.

Management Analysis and Planning (MAP) is one of DEL’s key initiatives.

MAP is for businesses with 10 or more employees who are committed and serious about growing their business and developing their staff and managers. Businesses with slightly less than 10 employees may be considered if they have growth potential.

On MAP you will receive a fully subsidised (FREE) Business Improvement Plan (worth £1,000) and we will also help you develop a Business Development and Training Plan. Once completed the Department for Employment and Learning will also fully fund (until end of summer period) all eligible training costs up to £6,000 for your business.

DEL also have a fully funded initiative to help Managers and Team Leaders to attain a number of Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, including NVQ's, VRQ's, and a range of other manaement, leadership and essential skills qualifications. Upon completion of the programme employers receive a grant up to £750 per employee.
